HBL is looking to hire a Unit Head System Support in its Information Technology function, Karachi who will be responsible for managing the team of systems administration and management unit who involved to provide uninterrupted professional services and support to critical banking applications/systems on 24x7x365 based model. This position is directly reported to Head Core Systems Support and Operations in IT Infrastructure & Operations (Global) division in ITG.
Details:
· Managing systems support & administration team who involved to perform daily systems administration and management of critical production systems of HBL network. Individual would be responsible to ensure the timely completion of the approved projects, ensuring maximum availability of ADC systems, AML systems, Middleware systems as per the agreed SLA. Regular systems statistics review, performance review and administration review to ensure optimal performance of the systems.
· Reviewing IT Security policies and requirements from systems perspective, procedures to implement InfoSec guidelines.
· Ensuring the training of the Systems administrators on latest technologies etc. Also helping the team to resolve bottlenecks faced during BAU operations and /or deployment of the projects.
· Managing and handling critical scenarios to ensure service delivery, in case of disaster, as per the SOP and agreed SLAs.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field(s)
Experience: 18+ years’ experience in Banking or financial services
